About me

After teaching motorcycle training in Nottingham and East Midlands for five years, in March 1989, I established Roadcraft School of Motorcycling in Nottingham.

Roadcraft is now the longest established Motorcycle Training school in Nottingham. As well as advanced motorcycle training, Roadcraft School of Motorcycling can offer CBT, direct access or DAS and other motorcycle rider training up to test standard.

I am fully authorised by the Driving Standards Agency in Nottingham for C.B.T and Direct access training, have two advanced riding certificates and have won many road safety competitons.

"To err is human" we all make mistakes, the art is to accept, analyze and learn by them.
One of the biggest failings of a motorcyclist, in my opinion, is ego, there is no room for it on a motorcycle and if left unchecked can and often does kill.

I use a 1996 Honda ST1100 Pan-European for instructing and a 2011 Aprilia Tuono V4 for "playtime" including track days.
My other bikes include an old 1990 CBR600 (jelly mould version) which is lovely to ride, 1985 Suzuki GSX550, 1982 Honda CBX550, 1980 Yamaha RD50m fully restored, 1981 Honda MB5 and a 1974 Honda SS50 Pedal moped which is on display at our shop, Beechdale Motorcycles in Nottingham.
